The plain of Milazzo
The “Amalfa Carlo” nursey plant is located in Milazzo (Messina). The Ancients baptized the “Aurea Chersoneso” (golden peninsula) area as the territory was rich in water and lush vegetation filled the fertile plains. The mild climate, according to legends, favored the stay of the gods of Olympus. Even today Milazzo, thanks to its micro-climate favored by its particular geographic position, remains an area with a strong agricultural vocation, with over 608 hectares of land used, 89% of the nursing businesses in the province of Messina. The number of plants produced annually in the area is around 4 million in pots with a diameter of 14 to 22, of which at least 75% reaches foreign markets, particularly Germany, France, Denmark, Holland and the United Kingdom.
How to reach us
The nursey plant is easily accessible by car, bus or train from all Sicilian cities. It is located near the junction Milazzo – Aeolian Islands of the A20 motorway (Messina – Palermo). Exit the motorway and go through Viale di Milazzo axis until the San Paolino junction (Exit n ° 3). The nursey plant is just a few minutes away from the train station, the harbor and the bus parking.
